If possible, contact your training site beforehand and arrange for an IT person to be there for setup and to be accessible during your time there.

Connect to the projector or tv with an HDMI cable. You may need to change the input on the device to HDMI.

• Videos are embedded in their appropriate slides. These should play at full screen by simply clicking. This is the recommend method of presenting.
• If you are working on a mac, these videos may not play embedded. If so, there is a folder called [Name of PowerPoint] Linked to Videos that has the PowerPoint file plus all needed videos. When you click, a new window will open using the program needed for that computer. All videos and PowerPoint must stay in the same folder in order to work this way.
• All videos are in mp4 format. These should work on any media player. If they do not open automatically:
  
  
  1. Right click on a video in the folder
  2. Hover on 'Open with...'
  3. Select a media player from the list that pops up or search for an app

Closed Captioning is currently available on the 2020 revised Well-Managed Schools. To turn on captions:

1. Find a slide with videos.
2. Hover over the video to make the playbar appear (either in presentation or edit view).
3. Click on the grey square with lines.
4. Check the closed caption text option.
5. Use the same process to turn captions off (check off).

This will turn on/off all captions throughout the presentation.

To use the break slides:

1. When it is time for a break, type in the slide number you would like to display and press enter.
2. When the slide appears enter the return time in the text box.
3. When the break is over click the button in the bottom right corner of the slide to return to the slide you were on before break.

• If a flash drive isn't working but others are, copy files onto a blank flash drive.
