Ingredients:
- 6 c cubed bread
- 2 c milk
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 c sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 c apple pie filling, chopped small
- 1/2 c caramel ice cream sauce
- 1 tsp sea salt
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- Whisk together milk, eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Add chopped pie filling.
- Place the bread in a large bowl and pour the milk and apple mixture on it. Fold the ingredients to moisten the bread. Let stand for 10 min.
- Mix the caramel sauce and sea salt
- Pour half the bread mix into a greased 8×8 baking dish. Press the bread to form a layer. Spread half the caramel sauce. Pour the remaining bread mix to form another layer and spread the caramel sauce.
- Bake 45-50 minutes or until set. Let cool at least 20 minutes.
