Ingredients
- 8 medium potatoes, peeled
- 1 medium onion
- lemon juice
- 1 c flour
- 1 c milk
- 1 egg
- 1 TBSP baking powder
- 1/8 c melted butter
- ground nutmeg
- salt and pepper
Directions
- Grate potatoes and onions. Splash with lemon juice and squeeze out water.
- Mix flour, milk egg, baking powder, and nutmeg.
- Add potatoes, then melted butter.
- Heat in a skillet and fry until golden on one side. Flip. (about one minute each side)
- Remove and lay on paper towel-lined plate.
