Lower Fat, High Protein Slow Cooker Mac & Cheese

(Makes 5 servings; freezable)

Ingredients:

  • 1 box dried macaroni
  • 2.5 cups milk
  • 1 cup fat free cottage cheese
  • 1 cup of any shredded cheese
  • Any seasonings/ingredients for different flavors:
    • Pizza: Turkey Pepperoni, Marinara, Parmesan, oregano, basil
    • Buffalo: chicken, hot sauce, blue cheese
    • Spinach

Directions:

  1. Set slow cooker on high heat.
  2. Mix every 20-30 minutes until the sauce has thickened and the pasta has cooked through. (Usually 60-90 minutes total)
